We are a proud group of AKC pointing breed dog owners who in 2003 founded the Kentuckiana Pointing Breeds Association (KPBA). The club was formed to encourage and promote quality in the breeding of pure bred American Kennel Club pointing breeds and to conduct sanctioned and licensed field trials and hunting tests under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club. Our mission is to do all possible to bring the natural qualities of pure bred pointing breeds to perfection, to urge members and breeders to accept the standards of the individual pointing breeds as approved by the American Kennel Clubs as the only standard of excellence by which each pointing breed shall be judged and to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of pointing breeds by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at hunting tests and field trials.
